The attack on Monday against Aramco’s oil facilities in Saudi Arabia is believed to have been orchestrated by Israel as part of a «false flag» operation.

According to a military source who spoke to the Tasnim agency, the aim of the Zionist regime is to divert the attention of Middle Eastern countries from its bombings on civilian targets in Iran.

«Iran has openly announced that it will strike all American and Israeli interests, facilities, and equipment in the region, and to date, it has targeted many of them; however, the Aramco facilities have not yet been attacked by Iran,» the source stated.

«Intelligence sources have informed us that the port of Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates is also one of the next targets for the Israelis in this false flag operation, and the regime intends to attack it,» the source warned to Tasnim.

Following the drone attack, the Saudi state oil giant decided to shut down its Ras Tanura refinery after being targeted by a drone assault, as confirmed by an industry source on Monday, after Tehran launched attacks across the region in response to the U.S.-Israeli assault on Iran.

The Ras Tanura complex of Aramco, located on the kingdom’s Gulf coast, houses one of the largest refineries in the Middle East with a processing capacity of 55,000 barrels of crude oil per day (bpd) and serves as a major export terminal for Saudi oil.

The bombing caused a fire that was controlled, and there were no reported fatalities or injuries.

Some media outlets have pointed to Iran as responsible for the attack, as part of its response to the joint aggression from the United States and Israel. However, the revealing testimony from the military source contradicts these allegations.

787 Deaths in Iran from US and Israel Attacks

The Iranian Red Crescent reported on Tuesday that the assaults perpetrated by Washington and Tel Aviv against the Persian nation have resulted in at least 787 fatalities.

According to field reports, the figure of 555 announced on Monday by the organization has risen by an additional 232 victims in the last hours.

Additionally, the Iran-based human rights organization HRANA indicated that at least 742 civilians have died in Iran, including 176 minors.

It also noted that as a result of the U.S. and Israeli bombings, 971 civilians have been injured, including 115 children, while another 624 deaths remain pending confirmation and classification.
