Original article: Póngale cero: Gobierno chileno ocupó foto del Día de la Familia Peruana para su post oficial del «Día de las Familias»
Every year on May 15, the International Day of Families is commemorated, a date proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in 1993. In Chile, President José A. Kast’s administration shared an image on the official social media accounts of the Ministries of Women and Social Development, captioned «family is the foundation of the future.»
However, several individuals noticed that the image chosen for this official post was originally published eight months ago by Diagnóstica Peruana SAC to celebrate Peru’s Family Day, which has been held on the second Sunday of September since 1982.
«The family is the core of our society and our greatest inspiration for continuous innovation in health. Happy Family Day, Peru!» stated the Peruvian company’s post, which can be found on LinkedIn.

This same photo was used by the Chilean government for its official publication:

As of this writing, the image remained visible on the official social media accounts of the Ministry of Women and Gender Equity, the Ministry of Social Development and Family, Prodemu, and Sernameg.
