The Chilean newspaper El Ciudadano has gained significant international recognition following the campaign «Epstein’s Faces», developed by the agency Cheil Chile, which won a Silver Award at the prestigious New York Festivals Advertising Awards 2026, one of the most relevant advertising creativity competitions worldwide.

The award-winning piece competed in the Print: Products & Services – Entertainment/Media category, representing Chile and positioning El Ciudadano among the standout campaigns in the international creative industry. According to the festival’s official record, the campaign was recognized for its graphic and narrative proposal linked to the Epstein case, receiving one of the coveted Silver Towers awarded by the competition.

This award holds special significance given that the New York Festivals annually feature work from dozens of countries, evaluated by a jury comprised of some of the world’s leading creatives, agency directors, and communication specialists. For the 2026 edition, campaigns from over 45 countries participated.

The recognition affirms El Ciudadano’s ability to create impactful content and communication projects with global reach, delivering messages from Chile that can compete equally with campaigns developed for major international brands.

The awarded campaign was developed by a team led by Felipe Ortiz, Chief Creative Officer at Cheil Chile, alongside Javier Monroy, Claudia Guajardo, Felipe Mora, and a broad group of creatives, art directors, copywriters, and producers.
