On Facebook alone, the outlet surpassed 94 million monthly views, while on Instagram it reached 102 million views, impacting over 6 million accounts. On TikTok, although still in a growth phase, relevant numbers are already showing potential for future consolidation with a community exceeding 155 thousand followers, surpassing other outlets that have existed for over a century in the country.

On YouTube, El Ciudadano’s Canal Ciudadano is also on the rise, having rekindled its audiovisual engines.

One of the most significant aspects of the results is the audience composition, where more than 30% of views come from non-followers, indicating a strong organic penetration and viral spread of content beyond its direct community.

This growth is attributed to an editorial strategy that combines political current affairs, investigative journalism, social content, and dynamic digital formats, along with strong distribution on social media and partnerships with alternative media. Additionally, a clear editorial line has connected with critically oriented audiences, generating high levels of sharing and digital conversation.
