The Lebanese Resistance, led by Hizbullah, has claimed responsibility for a series of attacks on Israeli military facilities located in northern occupied Palestine.
The operations, executed using drones and rockets, targeted Ramat David and Meron air bases, which the group labeled as a direct response to ongoing Israeli aggression against Lebanese territory.
According to a statement issued by Hizbullah, the first strike was carried out with a squadron of drones launched at Ramat David Air Base, impacting its radars and control rooms.
Simultaneously, another swarm of drones targeted the Meron base, also in northern occupied Palestine, successfully hitting the monitoring and air operation management rooms, as reported by Al Mayadeen.
Hizbullah’s military report also mentioned an attack against the Nafah base, identified as the headquarters of the 210 Habshan Division, located in occupied Syrian Golan. In this instance, the Lebanese Resistance reported executing the operation using «a large barrage of rockets.»
Beyond military action, Hizbullah denounced that attacks by the Zionist regime against Lebanon have been continuous for 15 months.
In their statement, they described this ongoing aggression as a systematic campaign that includes «murders, destruction, and devastation in all its criminal forms.»
The group emphasized the ineffectiveness of diplomatic channels, stating that no political efforts have succeeded in stopping Israeli violence or enforcing the terms of previously established ceasefire agreements.
«We repeatedly warned that aggression cannot continue without response, and that targeted assassinations and destruction cannot be prolonged. What is required is to end the aggression by all available means, with determination and effective action,» the organization stated.
Hizbullah argued that ongoing Israeli aggression cannot be justified by political or security pretexts and that confrontation is a legitimate right.
“What Hizbullah has done is a reaction to aggression, primarily based on national considerations, and a right to ensure the security and stability of our people and our regions throughout Lebanon,” they emphasized.
The Lebanese Resistance stated that attacks on the air bases of the occupying entity are a «defensive act and a legitimate right.» However, they clarified that their operations focus on military installations, unlike Israel, which targets civilians.
Previously, the Resistance reiterated its repeated warnings that neither aggression nor targeted assassinations and destruction could continue without response, asserting that the aim is to «end the aggression by all available means, with determination and effective action.»
In the circulated text, they affirmed that military operations against Israel respond to what they term a «criminal aggression» that has attacked dozens of Lebanese cities and towns, including the southern suburb of Beirut.
The group condemned that these bombardments have had a devastating human toll, having «killed dozens of men, women, and children.»
Moreover, they recalled that the offensive launched by Tel Aviv has left countless injured, destroyed buildings and civilian infrastructure, «instilled terror among the population, and forced the forced displacement of innocent civilians from their homes,» reported Al Mayadeen.
Finally, the group reiterated its previous warnings and once again stated that aggression, targeted assassinations, and destruction cannot continue without a decisive response.
In this regard, the organization insisted that the immediate priority is to «end the aggression by all available means, with determination and effective action.»
