The so-called “snitching law” is being criticized for its potential impacts on public health, education, security, and the rights of migrant children, as reported by El Mostrador on their program Punto por Punto with journalist Paulina de Allende-Salazar. This measure would require schools, health services, and other organizations to provide information about foreigners to immigration authorities, prompting warnings from experts, ministers, and former ministers who argue it could have serious consequences across various sectors in the country.
