Original article: Poduje se enojó por pifias en aniversario del Serviu Metropolitano y ordenó identificar a «el o los organizadores del acto»
Housing Minister Iván Poduje, representing the Kast administration, has demanded that the director of Serviu Metropolitan, Roberto Acosta Kerum, provide a series of details regarding disruptions faced by Undersecretary of Housing Natalia Aguilar and Cerrillos Mayor Johnny Yáñez during the entity’s anniversary celebration held at the institutional building.
In his official communication issued on June 22nd, Poduje noted that during the event, «a speech was delivered by a staff member from that Service which included criticisms directed at the Government and senior officials from the Ministry of Housing and Urbanism.»
Poduje considers the «booing» encountered by the undersecretary and the aforementioned speech to be a situation of «extreme seriousness,» prompting him to request that the Serviu Metropolitan director send him, «within five business days of receiving this office, a detailed report identifying the individual or individuals responsible for organizing the event held on June 20, 2026, including their names, positions, and areas of performance.»
Furthermore, he requested, within the same timeframe, «the complete recording of the speech delivered by the official who referenced the Government and the ministerial authorities, as well as any other audiovisual records of the event relevant to the reported incidents.»
Finally, Poduje insisted on a formal letter of apology from Roberto Acosta directed to both the Undersecretary of Housing and Urbanism and the mayor of Cerrillos, signed by him in his capacity as Regional Director, concerning the previously described events.
