On Saturday, April 25th, at 7:00 PM, Lavina Yelb and Mariapepinos will perform live in a double show at Espacio Diana, marking the inaugural event of the emerging sound platform Platonos. Tickets are currently available for this concert through Portaltickets.
Initially, 120 presale tickets will be available until they sell out, followed by general admission pricing until the venue reaches its capacity of 400 attendees.
This first event, which will take place in the vibrant theater space of the iconic Juegos Diana, redefines leisure, sound experiences, and the nostalgic technology of collective gatherings in the San Diego neighborhood within a historic building from the early 20th century, where mechanical games have been a part of its charm since the 1930s.
Expanding Sound Experiences
Established in 2026, Platonos is a platform dedicated to producing concerts, performances, installations, and projections that expand the possibilities of sound experiences. It aims to position itself at the fringes of the music scene, visual arts, and performance.
Focusing on bold, creative approaches that are not always found in commercial circuits, it seeks to collaborate with innovative and experimental artists and spaces.
One of the acts taking the stage on April 25th will be Lavina Yelb, a Chilean music project led by Aníbal Bley, active since 2006 within Santiago’s independent scene.
Their musical style merges progressive pop, dislocated funk, and a labyrinthine sound collage, creating a frenetic and playful musical universe filled with samples, dialogues, and intricate stimuli; humor, experimentation, and compositional precision.
After years as a solo project, Lavina Yelb transitioned to a band format in 2018, delivering an intense performance that blends irregular rhythms and a joyous spirit, breaking free from rigid categorization.
With a history rooted in self-management and releases like «Apapneas Hypmne Somome» (2010), «Auto Pa» (2011), «Algo de Alguien» (2013), «Otra Vez Otra» (2022), and «En Vivo en Chile» (2023), Lavina Yelb continues to evolve.
Additionally, Santiago-based artist and producer Mariapepinos will showcase a universe where beats, experimental hip hop, ambient, and lo-fi electronic music coexist, fusing guitar loops and synthesizers with evocative textures reminiscent of old video games and computers, crafting intimate songs developed over more than a decade.
Throughout her career, she has released works such as «Lizana» (2015), «Passeio» (2018), «RUOND» (2018), «María A Black» (2023), along with various soundtracks and international collaborations, integrating music and digital art into a pixelated aesthetic that results in an immersive show of soft rhythms, handcrafted electronics, and experimental Latin American pop.
