A report released on Friday, July 24, by the newspaper La Segunda reveals that Servel will file a complaint against the People’s Party (PDG) with the Public Prosecutor’s Office following the discovery of numerous unverified expenses that could potentially constitute a crime.

According to the publication, the decision was communicated by the director of the Electoral Service, Raúl García, to the institution’s council.

Specifically, the complaint is directed at the former general fund administrator of the PDG, Miguel Azar, “for rental payments to related parties and banking operations without proper documentation.”

Additionally, a report from Radio Cooperativa highlighted that this action by Servel is part of ongoing investigations facing the party led by Franco Parisi, as since 2024, the High Complexity Prosecutor’s Office in the Central North region has been investigating former chairman Luis Moreno for alleged document forgery to fraudulently obtain public funds.

Moreover, the PDG has faced several fines for violations in the asset declarations of its leaders and has ongoing processes before the Electoral Qualifying Tribunal.

«Additionally, the party has failed to approve its annual financial statements since 2023,» notes La Segunda, suggesting that if Servel’s audit division rejects the 2025 balance, the PDG could face «legal dissolution.»
