The analysis from HispanTV, published on Sunday, June 28, asserts that this agreement signifies «the empirical recognition of the structural exhaustion of U.S. foreign policy in the region.» The outlet highlights that Washington, which vowed to eradicate Tehran six months prior, has quietly abandoned its initial demand for regime change, revealing «the collapse of an imperial paradigm that believed it could subdue geography and history through sheer military coercion.»
According to the report from HispanTV, Iran’s response to the offensive was swift and devastating: ballistic missiles and drones struck U.S. military bases throughout the Persian Gulf, as Tehran announced the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This closure of a vital energy hub that carries nearly 20% of the global oil supply strained global supply chains, exposing the vulnerabilities of the U.S. security architecture.
The analysis concludes that «U.S. policy in the Persian Gulf, based on the premise that the region can be managed as a global gas station through military coercion, has reached its limits.» The media emphasizes that by resisting and forcing negotiations on its own terms, Iran has proven that control over key straits gives a decisive strategic advantage over distant powers.
