Drawing influence from iconic bands such as The Clash, Elvis Costello & The Attractions, and The Jam, this single invites listeners to reflect on how various political, economic, and cultural structures inherited from the dictatorship remain entrenched in today’s democracy.
With direct guitar riffs, catchy melodies, and bold lyrics, the single aims to spark a conversation about the nation’s memory and current realities: «Are we really okay, with nothing to regret?» the artist questions in the lyrics, ultimately concluding with, «I see no easy way back,» regarding society’s current circumstances.
